SNS Pro - Blue Book Collection - #143
SNS Pro - Blue Book Collection - #143
#143 is an emerald green glitter from the SNS Pro Blue Book. The powder dips over base and sets with activator, the GelStar gel cures under a lamp and the SNS Nail Lacquer air-dries, and all three are matched to this one shade. Choose the format above; the price is the same for every code in the book.
One of the 16 glitter finishes in the Blue Book. The sparkle is in the powder, so it stays through the whole wear rather than sitting on top. It is most often used as an accent nail on a cream set, or as a full set for the holidays.
Why this powder
- One code, three pieces. The powder, the gel and the lacquer of #143 are built to one shade, which SNS calls MasterMatch, so the hands and the toes match without a re-swatch.
- Pre-bonded Gelous Color powder. The jar is our Nutri-Plus formula, and we formulate the base and the powder with vitamins and minerals, with vitamin E and calcium in the GelStar gel.
- Dip or sculpt. The powder dips over base and sets with activator, and it also sculpts with monomer like an acrylic, so one jar covers both services.
- Buy only what you use. The gel is sold alone, so a gel salon can carry the whole book without the powder.

How to apply #143
Prep once: push back the cuticle, shape, buff the shine off the plate and wipe with alcohol. Then the service decides the piece.
- Dip. A thin coat of base, dip into #143, tap off the excess, repeat once. Activator over the whole nail, file and buff, a second coat of activator, then top coat. No lamp.
- Gel. Gel base, cured. Two thin coats of the #143 GelStar, cured after each. Gel top, cured, then wipe the tacky layer.
- Lacquer. Two coats of the #143 lacquer, air-dried. Top coat optional.
Removal for dip and gel is an acetone soak, never a peel.
For the dip you need our base, the Sealer Dry activator and a top coat, all under Dip Essentials. The gel base and gel top for the GelStar are under Base & Top Gel.

Questions about #143
How do I get a smooth surface on a glitter powder like #143?
Glitter powders carry the sparkle in the powder itself, so the surface is a little more textured than a cream before you file. Do the same rounds of base and powder, then file lightly, buff, and rely on the top coat to level the finish. Most techs use a glitter as an accent nail over a cream from the same family.
How do I remove #143?
Acetone soak for the dip and the gel, ordinary remover for the lacquer. Wear is a few weeks for most clients, more or less depending on prep and what the hands do all day.
Do I need an activator with #143?
Yes. This is the standard SNS dip routine: base, powder, base, powder, then the Sealer Dry activator over the whole nail before you file, and a second coat before top coat. The activator is what sets the powder. The two no-activator books (Green and Yellow Green) skip it; the Blue Book does not.
Color swatches vary with screens and lighting. For accuracy, match against the physical SNS Blue Book. Packaging styles may vary by batch.
