Frequently asked questions
Are the Fall 2026 shades new colors, or codes from the SNS books?
They are codes from the four SNS color books. Every set is curated from the Blue, Pink, Burgundy or Beige Book, so the code printed on each jar or bottle is the same code on your swatch wall, and a shade that sells out can be reordered on its own as a single jar or a single gel and lacquer duo from that book. The set is the seasonal edit; the book is the catalog it comes from.
What is the difference between the 4-in-1, the powder box and the duo box?
Same shades, different formats. The Dip/Acrylic Powder box holds one 1.5 oz jar per shade. The Gel and Lacquer Duo box holds one SNS Pro Healthy GelStar gel polish and one SNS Nail Lacquer per shade, 0.5 oz (15 ml) each, so a six-shade set is 12 bottles and a twelve-shade set is 24. The 4-in-1 system is the powder box and the duo box together, for salons that run dip, gel and polish under one code. That is why 20 sets show as 60 listings.
Can I use the fall powder for acrylic as well as dip?
Yes. The powder in these sets is our dip/acrylic powder, the same jar either way: brush on base and dip for a dip manicure, or pick it up with monomer and sculpt for an acrylic set. Only the powder-only and 4-in-1 boxes include it; the duo box is gel and lacquer only. Dip cures with activator and acrylic cures by air, so neither needs a lamp; the GelStar gel in the duo is the one product here that does.
How do I choose between a six-shade set and a twelve-shade set?
Each twelve-shade set is two six-shade sets from the same book in one box: Celebrate In Color is Mistletoe Kiss plus Spiced Chai, Party Favor is Blush Crush plus Dress Code, Sweater Season is Crimson Grove plus Quiet Luxury, and Warm Wishes is Earthly Delights plus Warm And Toasted. Pick the twelve if you want the fall neutrals and the holiday shades from one book in a single order; pick a six if your wall only needs one of those two moods.
What is in the SNS Fall Collection 2026?
Twenty curated shade sets, each one a small color story for the season: deep reds and wines, taupe and mocha browns, dusty roses, navy and teal, plus a handful of glitters for the holiday weeks. We did not formulate new shades for this drop. Every set is picked from the four SNS color books that salons already stock (Blue Book, Pink Book, Burgundy Book and Beige Book), so the codes on the box match the codes on your swatch wall and every shade can be restocked one jar or one duo at a time.
Each set comes in three formats: the dip/acrylic powder box, the gel and lacquer duo box, or the 4-in-1 system that bundles both. That is why the grid shows 60 listings for 20 sets. Sixteen sets hold six shades; four hold twelve, and each twelve-shade box is simply two of the six-shade sets from the same book packed together.

Which fall set should you pick?
- A salon that already runs one book: stay inside it. If your wall is Pink Book, Cafe Rose and Frost and Merlot slot straight into the codes your techs already call out, and singles restock from the same book.
- The classic fall client (reds, wines, browns): Crimson Grove, Velvet Season or Spiced Chai. All three lean on deep reds with one brown or olive to break them up.
- Soft, wearable neutrals: Quiet Luxury, Blush Crush or Warm And Toasted. Pale pinks, nudes and one dark accent, the sets that book refills.
- Cool tones for a warm season: Frost and Merlot and Dust and Dusk pair denim and aqua blues with the reds, for clients who skip orange every year.
- Holiday weeks: Gilded Harvest and Midnight Sparkles carry the glitters; Mistletoe Kiss is the red, black and ice-blue party set.
- A full seasonal reset in one box: the four twelve-shade sets (Celebrate In Color, Party Favor, Sweater Season, Warm Wishes) cover fall and the holidays from one book at once.
Three formats, one shade code
| Format | What is in the box | Who orders it |
|---|---|---|
| Dip/Acrylic Powder box | One 1.5 oz jar per shade; six or twelve jars | Dip-first salons, and acrylic techs who use the same powder with monomer |
| Gel & Lacquer Duo box | One SNS Pro Healthy GelStar gel polish and one SNS Nail Lacquer per shade, 0.5 oz (15 ml) each; 12 or 24 bottles | Gel services, pedicure match, and the take-home lacquer |
| 4-in-1 system | The powder box and the duo box for the same set | Salons that offer dip, gel and polish and want one code across all three |
Our dip/acrylic powder is the same product in both services: dipped over base for a dip manicure, or sculpted with monomer for an acrylic set. That is why one jar covers two menus and why the fall boxes do not need a separate acrylic version. For the matched powder, gel and lacquer combos across the whole range, not just this season, see Dip Powder with Matching Gel & Lacquer.
How do the three systems match on the nail?
Every shade code in these sets exists as a powder, a gel and a lacquer that we match across the three systems, which is what the 4-in-1 box is built around. In practice a fall service runs like this:
- Hands in dip. Prep, base, dip the powder shade, brush off, repeat to the thickness you want, then activator and top from Dip Essentials. We mill our powders finer, which is why the color lays down more evenly dip after dip.
- Toes in gel. Cure the GelStar shade of the same code under an LED lamp, with base and top from Base & Top Gel. The client leaves with fingers and toes that read as one color.
- Lacquer for touch-ups. The Nail Lacquer in the duo is the take-home bottle: a chip at the free edge can be painted over in the same shade without a return visit.
- Restock by code. When one shade in a set sells through, order that single duo or jar from the matching book instead of buying the whole set again.
We add our Nutri-Plus blend of vitamins and minerals to the base coat and to the powder itself, so the dip service and the gel service start from the same prep routine.
A fall and holiday calendar for the salon
- Late September: put Spiced Chai, Crimson Grove and Autumn Bazaar on the front of the wall; the browns and burnt orange are what walk-ins ask for first.
- October: After Dark and Dress Code for the black, wine and navy requests; Dust and Dusk for the client who wants fall without orange.
- November: the twelve-shade sets earn their space now, because Thanksgiving week is when the whole family books at once and one box covers every taste.
- December: Gilded Harvest, Midnight Sparkles and Mistletoe Kiss carry the glitter and ice-blue party shades; keep the matching lacquer duos near the register for gift sales.
- January: Quiet Luxury and Blush Crush hand the wall back to soft pinks and nudes without a new order.
Stocking, storage and reorders
- Keep powder jars closed between clients. Moisture in the room is what clumps a dip powder; the 1.5 oz jar is sized for a working station, not display.
- Store the gels out of the lamp's line of sight. GelStar cures under LED, so a bottle left open next to a running lamp will thicken.
- Shake the lacquer, roll the gel. Pigment in the lacquer settles; rolling the gel bottle mixes it without air bubbles.
- Order the book, then the sets. A salon that opens with a full book and adds the seasonal sets restocks by code all year; a salon that opens with sets alone ends up with orphan shades.
- Salon packs: the larger boxes and mixed bundles are under Sets & Bundles for Salons.
