LAVIS C10 - 14 - Gel Polish 0.5 oz - Light of Dawn Collection
LAVIS C10 - 14 - Gel Polish 0.5 oz - Light of Dawn Collection
Misty green water-light gold cat eye: that is Lavis C10-14, from the 24-shade Light of Dawn cat eye line (a gold cat eye glow on soft pastel bases). The finish is water-light gold cat eye, and the line forms when a magnet is held over the wet second coat.
Why techs pick C10-14
- Water-light gold cat eye finish from the Lavis C-series, the specialty-finish range.
- Formulated without HEMA: stated as what is left out, not as a promise that nobody can react.
- 0.5 fl oz (15 mL) salon bottle, high-gloss, smooth application.
- 60 second cure per coat under UV or LED; Lavis quotes up to 21 days of wear with proper prep and a top coat.

How to apply C10-14
- Prep: cuticles back, buff the shine off, wipe, then cure a thin gel base (Base & Top Gel).
- First thin coat of C10-14, cured 60 seconds, no magnet.
- Second, slightly fuller coat; before it cures hold a cat eye magnet a few millimeters above the wet gel for a few seconds, then cure that nail at once.
- Full cure, then a glossy gel top coat. A dark cured base underneath makes the line read stronger.
Best for
Lavis pitches the Light of Dawn line for spring and all year. Sunrise and gradient sets: pastel bases that blend, one gold line across all of them. Bridal daytime sets: soft and luminous without sparkle.

Questions about C10-14
What does HEMA-free mean here? Lavis formulates the C-series without HEMA, the small monomer in most gel products and the one most often named when a client reacts to gel. That is an exclusion, not a guarantee that no one reacts.
Can I wear C10-14 over a dark base? Yes, and the line reads strongest that way. Cure a coat of black or a deep solid first, then apply C10-14 and magnetize the second coat.
How is it removed? A normal gel soak-off: file the top thin, wrap in acetone, wait, push the softened gel away. Never pry.
