SNS Pro - Beige Book Collection - #043
SNS Pro - Beige Book Collection - #043
#043 is a pale lavender from the SNS Pro Beige Book. The powder dips over base and sets with activator, the GelStar gel cures under a lamp and the SNS Nail Lacquer air-dries, and all three are matched to this one shade. Choose the format above; the price is the same for every code in the book.
A lavender is a spring and summer shade, and one of the pastels that clients photograph most. The powder gives it a solid, even finish; the lacquer in the duo is the same code for toes.
Why this powder
- One code, three pieces. The powder, the gel and the lacquer of #043 are built to one shade, which SNS calls MasterMatch, so the hands and the toes match without a re-swatch.
- Pre-bonded Gelous Color powder. The jar is our Nutri-Plus formula, and we formulate the base and the powder with vitamins and minerals, with vitamin E and calcium in the GelStar gel.
- Dip or sculpt. The powder dips over base and sets with activator, and it also sculpts with monomer like an acrylic, so one jar covers both services.
- Buy only what you use. The gel is sold alone, so a gel salon can carry the whole book without the powder.

How to apply #043
Prep once: push back the cuticle, shape, buff the shine off the plate and wipe with alcohol. Then the service decides the piece.
- Dip. A thin coat of base, dip into #043, tap off the excess, repeat once. Activator over the whole nail, file and buff, a second coat of activator, then top coat. No lamp.
- Gel. Gel base, cured. Two thin coats of the #043 GelStar, cured after each. Gel top, cured, then wipe the tacky layer.
- Lacquer. Two coats of the #043 lacquer, air-dried. Top coat optional.
Removal for dip and gel is an acetone soak, never a peel.
Pair the powder with base, activator and top coat from Dip Essentials, and the gel with a base and top from Base & Top Gel.

Questions about #043
Which board is #043 on?
Board 2, which runs #037 to #072. The board is sold as one bundle in the same formats as this listing, so it is a way to fill a quarter of a Beige Book wall in one order. The full book of 144 codes is sold the same way.
Are the gel and the lacquer the same shade as the powder?
Yes, by design. The same number is printed on the jar, the gel and the lacquer because the three are matched to one color. Resins and pigment loads differ between a powder, a gel and a lacquer, so the match is engineered rather than automatic. Check it on the swatch photo or the physical book, not on a screen.
Can I sculpt with the #043 powder?
Yes. It is a dip and acrylic powder: dip it over base for an overlay, or pick it up with monomer and sculpt it over a form like any acrylic. The same jar covers both services, which is why the format is named Dip/Acrylic.
Color swatches vary with screens and lighting. For accuracy, match against the physical SNS Beige Book. Packaging styles may vary by batch.
