SNS Pro - Beige Book Collection - #117
SNS Pro - Beige Book Collection - #117
Code #117 of the SNS Pro Beige Book: a royal blue. Every code in this book is sold four ways on one listing: the 1.5 oz pre-bonded dipping powder, the 0.5 oz GelStar gel, the gel and lacquer duo, or the 3-in-1 set with powder, gel and lacquer matched to one shade.
A blue like this one is a full-set color for a client who wants something other than pink or red. It pairs with the whites in the book for a two-tone, and the same code in lacquer keeps the toes matched.
Why this powder
- The same shade in gel and lacquer. Every piece of #117 is matched to one color, which is why the same number is printed on the jar, the gel and the lacquer.
- Built as a system. Our Nutri-Plus system adds vitamins and minerals to the base coat and the powder, and the GelStar gel is formulated with vitamin E and calcium.
- Two services from one jar. Dip it over base with no lamp, or pick it up with monomer and sculpt it as an acrylic.
- Four ways to buy. Powder, gel only, duo or the 3-in-1, at the same price for every code in the book.

How to apply #117
Prep once: push back the cuticle, shape, buff the shine off the plate and wipe with alcohol. Then the service decides the piece.
- Dip. A thin coat of base, dip into #117, tap off the excess, repeat once. Activator over the whole nail, file and buff, a second coat of activator, then top coat. No lamp.
- Gel. Gel base, cured. Two thin coats of the #117 GelStar, cured after each. Gel top, cured, then wipe the tacky layer.
- Lacquer. Two coats of the #117 lacquer, air-dried. Top coat optional.
Removal for dip and gel is an acetone soak, never a peel.
Pair the powder with base, activator and top coat from Dip Essentials, and the gel with a base and top from Base & Top Gel.

Questions about #117
Which board is #117 on?
Board 4, which runs #109 to #144. The board is sold as one bundle in the same formats as this listing, so it is a way to fill a quarter of a Beige Book wall in one order. The full book of 144 codes is sold the same way.
Are the gel and the lacquer the same shade as the powder?
Yes, by design. The same number is printed on the jar, the gel and the lacquer because the three are matched to one color. Resins and pigment loads differ between a powder, a gel and a lacquer, so the match is engineered rather than automatic. Check it on the swatch photo or the physical book, not on a screen.
Can I sculpt with the #117 powder?
Yes. It is a dip and acrylic powder: dip it over base for an overlay, or pick it up with monomer and sculpt it over a form like any acrylic. The same jar covers both services, which is why the format is named Dip/Acrylic.
Color swatches vary with screens and lighting. For accuracy, match against the physical SNS Beige Book. Packaging styles may vary by batch.
