SNS Pro - Blue Book Collection - #039
SNS Pro - Blue Book Collection - #039
Code #039 of the SNS Pro Blue Book: a dusty rose. Every code in this book is sold four ways on one listing: the 1.5 oz pre-bonded dipping powder, the 0.5 oz GelStar gel, the gel and lacquer duo, or the 3-in-1 set with powder, gel and lacquer matched to one shade.
Mauve sits between pink and taupe, which makes it one of the easier shades to sell to a client who finds pink too sweet and nude too plain. It is an office shade in summer and a full-set shade in autumn.
Why this powder
- The same shade in gel and lacquer. Every piece of #039 is matched to one color, which is why the same number is printed on the jar, the gel and the lacquer.
- Built as a system. Our Nutri-Plus system adds vitamins and minerals to the base coat and the powder, and the GelStar gel is formulated with vitamin E and calcium.
- Two services from one jar. Dip it over base with no lamp, or pick it up with monomer and sculpt it as an acrylic.
- Four ways to buy. Powder, gel only, duo or the 3-in-1, at the same price for every code in the book.

How to apply #039
Start with a clean, dry plate: cuticles pushed back, nail shaped, shine buffed off, alcohol wipe. Then pick the service.
- Dip on the hands. Thin base, dip #039, tap, thin base, dip again. Activator, file, buff, activator again, top coat. Nothing to cure.
- Gel on the hands. Cure a thin gel base, cure two thin coats of the #039 GelStar, cure the gel top and wipe.
- Lacquer on the toes. Two coats of the #039 lacquer, left to air-dry.
To remove the dip or the gel, soak in acetone. Do not peel; it takes the top layer of the plate with it.
For the dip you need our base, the Sealer Dry activator and a top coat, all under Dip Essentials. The gel base and gel top for the GelStar are under Base & Top Gel.

Questions about #039
Can I buy #039 as part of a set?
Yes. It sits on board 2 of the Blue Book, codes #037 to #072, and the board is sold as one bundle in each format, 36 codes at a time. The full 144-code book is also sold as one bundle.
Can I sculpt with the #039 powder?
Yes. It is a dip and acrylic powder: dip it over base for an overlay, or pick it up with monomer and sculpt it over a form like any acrylic. The same jar covers both services, which is why the format is named Dip/Acrylic.
How do I remove #039?
Acetone soak for the dip and the gel, ordinary remover for the lacquer. Wear is a few weeks for most clients, more or less depending on prep and what the hands do all day.
