SNS Pro - Blue Book Collection - #111
SNS Pro - Blue Book Collection - #111
Blue Book #111 is a raspberry pink, one of the 144 codes in the SNS Pro Blue Book. Pick the format on this listing: the Gelous Color dipping powder, the GelStar gel on its own, the gel and lacquer duo, or all three as a 3-in-1 set. The shade is the same in each.
Pinks and mauves are 40 of the 144 codes in the Blue Book, so this code has close neighbours listed below. Pick by undertone: this one is the shade to sample if you want a pink that reads clearly as pink rather than as a nude.
Why this powder
- The same shade in gel and lacquer. Every piece of #111 is matched to one color, which is why the same number is printed on the jar, the gel and the lacquer.
- Built as a system. Our Nutri-Plus system adds vitamins and minerals to the base coat and the powder, and the GelStar gel is formulated with vitamin E and calcium.
- Two services from one jar. Dip it over base with no lamp, or pick it up with monomer and sculpt it as an acrylic.
- Four ways to buy. Powder, gel only, duo or the 3-in-1, at the same price for every code in the book.

How to apply #111
Prep is the same for every format: push the cuticle back, shape, take the shine off the plate, wipe with alcohol.
- Dip. Two rounds of thin base and #111 powder, activator, file and buff, a second activator coat, top coat. No lamp.
- Gel. Gel base, two thin coats of the #111 GelStar and a gel top, each cured, then wipe the tacky layer.
- Lacquer. Two air-dried coats of the #111 lacquer for toes or touch-ups.
Both the dip and the gel come off with an acetone soak.
For the dip you need our base, the Sealer Dry activator and a top coat, all under Dip Essentials. The gel base and gel top for the GelStar are under Base & Top Gel.

Questions about #111
Why does #111 look different on my screen?
Because screens shift color. The swatch photo above is the closest reference we can give online, and the physical Blue Book is the one to use for a client decision. Packaging may vary by batch; the shade does not.
Are the gel and the lacquer the same shade as the powder?
Yes, by design. The same number is printed on the jar, the gel and the lacquer because the three are matched to one color. Resins and pigment loads differ between a powder, a gel and a lacquer, so the match is engineered rather than automatic. Check it on the swatch photo or the physical book, not on a screen.
Can I sculpt with the #111 powder?
Yes. It is a dip and acrylic powder: dip it over base for an overlay, or pick it up with monomer and sculpt it over a form like any acrylic. The same jar covers both services, which is why the format is named Dip/Acrylic.
Color swatches vary with screens and lighting. For accuracy, match against the physical SNS Blue Book. Packaging styles may vary by batch.
