SNS Pro - Burgundy Book Collection - #051
SNS Pro - Burgundy Book Collection - #051
The off white at #051 in the SNS Pro Burgundy Book. Four ways to buy it on this one listing: the 1.5 oz Gelous Color dipping powder, the GelStar gel alone, the gel and lacquer duo, or the 3-in-1 set with all three. Same number, same shade, whichever you pick.
Whites and creams do the French tips, the full-set summer whites and the base for nail art. This is the powder to reach for when a client wants a clean, opaque finish without streaks, and the lacquer in the duo does the same job on the toes.
Why this powder
- The same shade in gel and lacquer. Every piece of #051 is matched to one color, which is why the same number is printed on the jar, the gel and the lacquer.
- Built as a system. Our Nutri-Plus system adds vitamins and minerals to the base coat and the powder, and the GelStar gel is formulated with vitamin E and calcium.
- Two services from one jar. Dip it over base with no lamp, or pick it up with monomer and sculpt it as an acrylic.
- Four ways to buy. Powder, gel only, duo or the 3-in-1, at the same price for every code in the book.

How to apply #051
Prep is the same for every format: push the cuticle back, shape, take the shine off the plate, wipe with alcohol.
- Dip. Two rounds of thin base and #051 powder, activator, file and buff, a second activator coat, top coat. No lamp.
- Gel. Gel base, two thin coats of the #051 GelStar and a gel top, each cured, then wipe the tacky layer.
- Lacquer. Two air-dried coats of the #051 lacquer for toes or touch-ups.
Both the dip and the gel come off with an acetone soak.
Three bottles finish the dip service, base, activator and top coat, all under Dip Essentials. If you run the GelStar as a gel service, the gel base and gel top are under Base & Top Gel.

Questions about #051
Why does #051 look different on my screen?
Because screens shift color. The swatch photo above is the closest reference we can give online, and the physical Burgundy Book is the one to use for a client decision. Packaging may vary by batch; the shade does not.
Are the gel and the lacquer the same shade as the powder?
Yes, by design. The same number is printed on the jar, the gel and the lacquer because the three are matched to one color. Resins and pigment loads differ between a powder, a gel and a lacquer, so the match is engineered rather than automatic. Check it on the swatch photo or the physical book, not on a screen.
Can I sculpt with the #051 powder?
Yes. It is a dip and acrylic powder: dip it over base for an overlay, or pick it up with monomer and sculpt it over a form like any acrylic. The same jar covers both services, which is why the format is named Dip/Acrylic.
Color swatches vary with screens and lighting. For accuracy, match against the physical SNS Burgundy Book. Packaging styles may vary by batch.
