SNS Pro - Burgundy Book Collection - #128
SNS Pro - Burgundy Book Collection - #128
Code #128 of the SNS Pro Burgundy Book: a cobalt blue. Every code in this book is sold four ways on one listing: the 1.5 oz pre-bonded dipping powder, the 0.5 oz GelStar gel, the gel and lacquer duo, or the 3-in-1 set with powder, gel and lacquer matched to one shade.
A blue like this one is a full-set color for a client who wants something other than pink or red. It pairs with the whites in the book for a two-tone, and the same code in lacquer keeps the toes matched.
Why this powder
- One code, three pieces. The powder, the gel and the lacquer of #128 are built to one shade, which SNS calls MasterMatch, so the hands and the toes match without a re-swatch.
- Pre-bonded Gelous Color powder. The jar is our Nutri-Plus formula, and we formulate the base and the powder with vitamins and minerals, with vitamin E and calcium in the GelStar gel.
- Dip or sculpt. The powder dips over base and sets with activator, and it also sculpts with monomer like an acrylic, so one jar covers both services.
- Buy only what you use. The gel is sold alone, so a gel salon can carry the whole book without the powder.

How to apply #128
Prep is the same for every format: push the cuticle back, shape, take the shine off the plate, wipe with alcohol.
- Dip. Two rounds of thin base and #128 powder, activator, file and buff, a second activator coat, top coat. No lamp.
- Gel. Gel base, two thin coats of the #128 GelStar and a gel top, each cured, then wipe the tacky layer.
- Lacquer. Two air-dried coats of the #128 lacquer for toes or touch-ups.
Both the dip and the gel come off with an acetone soak.
The dip needs a base, an activator and a top coat: they are under Dip Essentials. Gel base and top for the GelStar are under Base & Top Gel.

Questions about #128
Which board is #128 on?
Board 4, which runs #109 to #144. The board is sold as one bundle in the same formats as this listing, so it is a way to fill a quarter of a Burgundy Book wall in one order. The full book of 144 codes is sold the same way.
Which liquids go with #128?
The SNS dip essentials: EA Bond on the bare plate, Gel Base for each dip, Sealer Dry as the activator, and Gel Top to finish. They are the same bottles for every code in the Burgundy Book, and they sit in the complementary products on this page and under Dip Essentials.
Will the gel and lacquer match the #128 powder?
That is what the code is for. We build all three pieces of #128 to one shade, which SNS calls MasterMatch, so the powder on the hands and the lacquer on the toes read as one color. Match against the physical Burgundy Book or the swatch photo above rather than a phone screen when the decision matters.
Color swatches vary with screens and lighting. For accuracy, match against the physical SNS Burgundy Book. Packaging styles may vary by batch.
