SNS Pro - Burgundy Book Collection - #136
SNS Pro - Burgundy Book Collection - #136
The black at #136 in the SNS Pro Burgundy Book. Four ways to buy it on this one listing: the 1.5 oz Gelous Color dipping powder, the GelStar gel alone, the gel and lacquer duo, or the 3-in-1 set with all three. Same number, same shade, whichever you pick.
A black is a full-set shade in winter, an accent nail all year, and the base for most nail art. The powder gives a deep, even black that a lacquer usually needs three coats to reach.
Why this powder
- One code, three pieces. The powder, the gel and the lacquer of #136 are built to one shade, which SNS calls MasterMatch, so the hands and the toes match without a re-swatch.
- Pre-bonded Gelous Color powder. The jar is our Nutri-Plus formula, and we formulate the base and the powder with vitamins and minerals, with vitamin E and calcium in the GelStar gel.
- Dip or sculpt. The powder dips over base and sets with activator, and it also sculpts with monomer like an acrylic, so one jar covers both services.
- Buy only what you use. The gel is sold alone, so a gel salon can carry the whole book without the powder.

How to apply #136
Prep once: push back the cuticle, shape, buff the shine off the plate and wipe with alcohol. Then the service decides the piece.
- Dip. A thin coat of base, dip into #136, tap off the excess, repeat once. Activator over the whole nail, file and buff, a second coat of activator, then top coat. No lamp.
- Gel. Gel base, cured. Two thin coats of the #136 GelStar, cured after each. Gel top, cured, then wipe the tacky layer.
- Lacquer. Two coats of the #136 lacquer, air-dried. Top coat optional.
Removal for dip and gel is an acetone soak, never a peel.
The dip needs a base, an activator and a top coat: they are under Dip Essentials. Gel base and top for the GelStar are under Base & Top Gel.

Questions about #136
Can I buy #136 as part of a set?
Yes. It sits on board 4 of the Burgundy Book, codes #109 to #144, and the board is sold as one bundle in each format, 36 codes at a time. The full 144-code book is also sold as one bundle.
Will the gel and lacquer match the #136 powder?
That is what the code is for. We build all three pieces of #136 to one shade, which SNS calls MasterMatch, so the powder on the hands and the lacquer on the toes read as one color. Match against the physical Burgundy Book or the swatch photo above rather than a phone screen when the decision matters.
Is this a dip powder or an acrylic powder?
Both. Over base it works as a dip overlay; with monomer it sculpts like an acrylic. One jar of #136 does either job.
Color swatches vary with screens and lighting. For accuracy, match against the physical SNS Burgundy Book. Packaging styles may vary by batch.
