SNS Pro - Pink Book Collection - #006
SNS Pro - Pink Book Collection - #006
The raspberry pink at #006 in the SNS Pro Pink Book. Four ways to buy it on this one listing: the 1.5 oz Gelous Color dipping powder, the GelStar gel alone, the gel and lacquer duo, or the 3-in-1 set with all three. Same number, same shade, whichever you pick.
A pink like this is booked for everyday hands, for bridal parties and for the client who wants color without a statement. It is one of 21 pinks and mauves in the Pink Book, so compare it against the codes below before you commit a whole wall.
Why this powder
- One code, three pieces. The powder, the gel and the lacquer of #006 are built to one shade, which SNS calls MasterMatch, so the hands and the toes match without a re-swatch.
- Pre-bonded Gelous Color powder. The jar is our Nutri-Plus formula, and we formulate the base and the powder with vitamins and minerals, with vitamin E and calcium in the GelStar gel.
- Dip or sculpt. The powder dips over base and sets with activator, and it also sculpts with monomer like an acrylic, so one jar covers both services.
- Buy only what you use. The gel is sold alone, so a gel salon can carry the whole book without the powder.

How to apply #006
Start with a clean, dry plate: cuticles pushed back, nail shaped, shine buffed off, alcohol wipe. Then pick the service.
- Dip on the hands. Thin base, dip #006, tap, thin base, dip again. Activator, file, buff, activator again, top coat. Nothing to cure.
- Gel on the hands. Cure a thin gel base, cure two thin coats of the #006 GelStar, cure the gel top and wipe.
- Lacquer on the toes. Two coats of the #006 lacquer, left to air-dry.
To remove the dip or the gel, soak in acetone. Do not peel; it takes the top layer of the plate with it.
Three bottles finish the dip service, base, activator and top coat, all under Dip Essentials. If you run the GelStar as a gel service, the gel base and gel top are under Base & Top Gel.

Questions about #006
Why does #006 look different on my screen?
Because screens shift color. The swatch photo above is the closest reference we can give online, and the physical Pink Book is the one to use for a client decision. Packaging may vary by batch; the shade does not.
Is this a dip powder or an acrylic powder?
Both. Over base it works as a dip overlay; with monomer it sculpts like an acrylic. One jar of #006 does either job.
How long does #006 last, and how does it come off?
Most clients get a few weeks from a dip set, though prep and lifestyle move that a lot. The dip and the gel both come off with an acetone soak; the lacquer with regular remover. Never peel a dip or gel set, it takes the surface of the nail with it.
Color swatches vary with screens and lighting. For accuracy, match against the physical SNS Pink Book. Packaging styles may vary by batch.
