SNS Pro - Pink Book Collection - #118
SNS Pro - Pink Book Collection - #118
Pink Book #118 is a crimson, one of the 144 codes in the SNS Pro Pink Book. Pick the format on this listing: the Gelous Color dipping powder, the GelStar gel on its own, the gel and lacquer duo, or all three as a 3-in-1 set. The shade is the same in each.
This is the shade for a client who asks for red and does not want to talk about it further. It sits well next to a nude on a French-style accent set, and it is a safe pick for toes because the lacquer in the duo is the same code.
Why this powder
- The same shade in gel and lacquer. Every piece of #118 is matched to one color, which is why the same number is printed on the jar, the gel and the lacquer.
- Built as a system. Our Nutri-Plus system adds vitamins and minerals to the base coat and the powder, and the GelStar gel is formulated with vitamin E and calcium.
- Two services from one jar. Dip it over base with no lamp, or pick it up with monomer and sculpt it as an acrylic.
- Four ways to buy. Powder, gel only, duo or the 3-in-1, at the same price for every code in the book.

How to apply #118
Start with a clean, dry plate: cuticles pushed back, nail shaped, shine buffed off, alcohol wipe. Then pick the service.
- Dip on the hands. Thin base, dip #118, tap, thin base, dip again. Activator, file, buff, activator again, top coat. Nothing to cure.
- Gel on the hands. Cure a thin gel base, cure two thin coats of the #118 GelStar, cure the gel top and wipe.
- Lacquer on the toes. Two coats of the #118 lacquer, left to air-dry.
To remove the dip or the gel, soak in acetone. Do not peel; it takes the top layer of the plate with it.
Three bottles finish the dip service, base, activator and top coat, all under Dip Essentials. If you run the GelStar as a gel service, the gel base and gel top are under Base & Top Gel.

Questions about #118
Which board is #118 on?
Board 4, which runs #109 to #144. The board is sold as one bundle in the same formats as this listing, so it is a way to fill a quarter of a Pink Book wall in one order. The full book of 144 codes is sold the same way.
Which liquids go with #118?
The SNS dip essentials: EA Bond on the bare plate, Gel Base for each dip, Sealer Dry as the activator, and Gel Top to finish. They are the same bottles for every code in the Pink Book, and they sit in the complementary products on this page and under Dip Essentials.
Will the gel and lacquer match the #118 powder?
That is what the code is for. We build all three pieces of #118 to one shade, which SNS calls MasterMatch, so the powder on the hands and the lacquer on the toes read as one color. Match against the physical Pink Book or the swatch photo above rather than a phone screen when the decision matters.
Color swatches vary with screens and lighting. For accuracy, match against the physical SNS Pink Book. Packaging styles may vary by batch.
