How to apply #010

Prep is the same for all three formats: push the cuticle back, shape, take the shine off the plate, wipe with alcohol.

1. Dip. Two rounds of thin base and #010 powder, then file, buff and top coat. This powder sets without an activator, so that step is simply left out. No lamp.
2. Gel. Gel base, two thin coats of the #010 gel and a gel top, each cured, then wipe the tacky layer.
3. Lacquer. Two air-dried coats of the #010 lacquer for toes or touch-ups.

Both the dip and the gel come off with an acetone soak.

It is not. This is one of the two SNS Pro books whose powder sets on its own over base, so the service is base, powder, base, powder, file and top coat. Mixing the activator routine from the other books into this one is where mistakes come from, so keep the two routines apart.

Will the gel and lacquer match the #010 powder?
