SNS Pro - Yellow Green Book Collection - #045
SNS Pro - Yellow Green Book Collection - #045
Code #045 of the SNS Pro Yellow Green Book: a rosy nude. This is a book whose powder needs no activator coat, and every code in it is sold three ways on one listing: the 1.5 oz powder, the gel and lacquer duo, or the 3-in-1 set with all three pieces matched to one shade.
A nude like this is the workhorse of a color wall: full sets, French bases, and the client who wants her nails to look like her nails, only better. The Yellow Green Book carries 28 nudes and browns, so compare the neighbours below to pick the undertone that suits the hand.
Why this powder
- Fewer steps. Two thin coats of base, two of powder, then file and top coat. No activator coat at any point, and no lamp for the dip.
- Hands and toes in one code. The gel and lacquer duo carries the same shade as the powder, so a client can wear #045 as dip on the hands and lacquer on the toes.
- Acrylic-ready. Sculpt the same powder with monomer when the client wants length rather than an overlay.
- One formula for the five jobs. Bonding, strength, shine, protection and easy removal, with our Nutri-Plus vitamins and minerals in the base and the powder.

How to apply #045
Prep is the same for all three formats: push the cuticle back, shape, take the shine off the plate, wipe with alcohol.
- Dip. Two rounds of thin base and #045 powder, then file, buff and top coat. This powder sets without an activator, so that step is simply left out. No lamp.
- Gel. Gel base, two thin coats of the #045 gel and a gel top, each cured, then wipe the tacky layer.
- Lacquer. Two air-dried coats of the #045 lacquer for toes or touch-ups.
Both the dip and the gel come off with an acetone soak.
Pair the powder with a base and a top coat from Dip Essentials, and the gel with a base and top from Base & Top Gel. No activator is needed with this book.

Questions about #045
Is the swatch photo accurate?
It is the best online reference, but a screen is not a nail. For a color decision, match #045 against the physical Yellow Green Book. Packaging styles vary by batch; the code and the shade are the same.
Do I need an activator with #045?
No. The powder in the Yellow Green Book sets without one. You dip over base, file, and go straight to top coat; the two activator coats of a standard dip service are left out. If your salon runs an activator routine on the 144-shade books, keep it for those and skip it here.
Are the gel and the lacquer the same shade as the powder?
Yes, by design. The same number is printed on the jar, the gel and the lacquer because the three are matched to one color. Resins and pigment loads differ between a powder, a gel and a lacquer, so the match is engineered rather than automatic. Check it on the swatch photo or the physical book, not on a screen.
Color swatches vary with screens and lighting. For accuracy, match against the physical SNS Yellow Green Book. Packaging styles may vary by batch.
