SNS Pro - Yellow Green Book Collection - #117
SNS Pro - Yellow Green Book Collection - #117
Code #117 of the SNS Pro Yellow Green Book: a pale peach. This is a book whose powder needs no activator coat, and every code in it is sold three ways on one listing: the 1.5 oz powder, the gel and lacquer duo, or the 3-in-1 set with all three pieces matched to one shade.
A peach like this one is booked as a sheer-looking everyday color, and it pairs with the pale nudes in the Yellow Green Book for a soft French. The powder lays down more opaque than the lacquer, so check the swatch for the full-coverage look.
Why this powder
- Skip the activator. This powder sets on its own over base, so the service is two coats shorter than a standard dip and there is no activator bottle to buy or to spill.
- The same shade in gel and lacquer. Every piece of #117 is matched to one color, which is why the same number is printed on the jar, the gel and the lacquer.
- Two services from one jar. Dip it over base with no lamp, or sculpt it with monomer as an acrylic.
- Built as a system. We formulate the base and the powder with our Nutri-Plus system, which adds vitamins and minerals, and the powder combines bonding, strength, shine, protection and easy removal.

How to apply #117
Prep is the same for all three formats: push the cuticle back, shape, take the shine off the plate, wipe with alcohol.
- Dip. Two rounds of thin base and #117 powder, then file, buff and top coat. This powder sets without an activator, so that step is simply left out. No lamp.
- Gel. Gel base, two thin coats of the #117 gel and a gel top, each cured, then wipe the tacky layer.
- Lacquer. Two air-dried coats of the #117 lacquer for toes or touch-ups.
Both the dip and the gel come off with an acetone soak.
For the dip you need our base and top coat, both under Dip Essentials; there is no activator to buy. The gel base and gel top for the duo are under Base & Top Gel.

Questions about #117
Is the swatch photo accurate?
It is the best online reference, but a screen is not a nail. For a color decision, match #117 against the physical Yellow Green Book. Packaging styles vary by batch; the code and the shade are the same.
Do I need an activator with #117?
No. The powder in the Yellow Green Book sets without one. You dip over base, file, and go straight to top coat; the two activator coats of a standard dip service are left out. If your salon runs an activator routine on the 144-shade books, keep it for those and skip it here.
Are the gel and the lacquer the same shade as the powder?
Yes, by design. The same number is printed on the jar, the gel and the lacquer because the three are matched to one color. Resins and pigment loads differ between a powder, a gel and a lacquer, so the match is engineered rather than automatic. Check it on the swatch photo or the physical book, not on a screen.
Color swatches vary with screens and lighting. For accuracy, match against the physical SNS Yellow Green Book. Packaging styles may vary by batch.
