Frequently asked questions
What is Lavis C07 Pinktopia?
A 24-shade gel polish collection in the Lavis C-series with a mixed pinks with glitter and cat eye variants finish: 24 pinks from milky ballet to hot magenta. Each shade is a 0.5 fl oz (15 mL) bottle, formulated without HEMA, curing 60 seconds per coat under a UV/LED lamp. We sell the singles and the 24-color set, and Lavis's 48-color combo that pairs it with a second C-series line.
How many coats does C07 Pinktopia need?
Two thin coats; the milky pinks take a third for opacity, the cat eye variants need a magnet on the second coat. Cure 60 seconds after every coat and seal with a glossy gel top. Because the look changes with the coat count, keep a swatch tip of each code at one, two and three coats so the client can choose before you start.
Can a client who reacted to gel before wear C07 Pinktopia?
Check what caused the reaction first. HEMA is the ingredient most often named, and Lavis formulates all 24 C07 shades without it. We say that as what is left out rather than as a safety promise, because no cosmetic can promise that nobody reacts. Patch-testing one nail before a full set is the sensible route for a client with that history.
Which C07 Pinktopia shades should a salon start with?
For Valentine's and all year: milky ballet for the everyday client, hot magenta for Valentine's, one glitter pink as the accent. Within the Lavis range, C04 Wildflower Whimsy ships with it as the 48-color Baby Bloom set, and C17 Glossy Touch is the sheer nude-pink jelly line. Fill the rest from the 24-color set listing once you see which codes your clients ask for; most salons open a C-series line with six to eight codes rather than all 24.
Why does my C07 Pinktopia finish look patchy?
Coats that are too thick or not cured between layers, almost always. Two thin coats; the milky pinks take a third for opacity, the cat eye variants need a magnet on the second coat. Cure 60 seconds after every coat, cap the free edge on the first, and keep the coats thin; a thick coat of a translucent or shimmer gel pools at the cuticle and reads uneven. A fresh top coat evens the surface but will not fix a thick under-layer.
What is Lavis C07 Pinktopia?
C07 Pinktopia is a 24-shade gel polish collection in the Lavis C-series, the specialty-finish range that runs from C01 to C17. Finish: mixed pinks with glitter and cat eye variants. Every pink mood: twenty-four pink gels from milky ballet and pastel to fuchsia and hot magenta, with glitter and cat eye variants inside the range. Lavis bundles it with C04 Wildflower Whimsy as the 48-color Baby Bloom set.
Every shade is formulated without HEMA, comes in the standard 0.5 fl oz (15 mL) salon bottle, and cures in 60 seconds per coat under a UV/LED lamp. We carry the line as 24 singles and as the 24-color set and a 48-color combo set.
The 24 shades, as singles or the set
The C07 Pinktopia 24-color set listing carries every shade as a Style option plus a full-set option, so it is a second way to buy any single code or to stock the whole line at once. Lavis also sells this drop inside the Lavis Set 48 Colors - Baby Bloom Collection, which pairs it with a second C-series collection.

Each code links to its own page with swatch photos; the short description is Lavis's own note on the shade. Screens shift a shade more than a swatch does, so if a client is between two codes, swatch both on a tip before committing.
The set and the singles are two routes to the same 24 bottles. Start with singles if the line is new to your clients; start with the set if you already know they ask for this finish. Either way, the singles are the restock route for the codes that sell fastest.
Who is C07 Pinktopia for?
Lavis pitches this line for Valentine's and all year. In the salon it tends to book for:
- Pink-only clients: a full spectrum so the answer is never 'we only have two pinks'.
- Valentine's menus: hot magenta and blush in the same drop.
- Ballet and milky-pink French: the sheer end of the range.
- Techs building a pink wall: glitter and cat eye variants included.
Within the Lavis range, C04 Wildflower Whimsy ships with it as the 48-color Baby Bloom set, and C17 Glossy Touch is the sheer nude-pink jelly line. The whole C-series runs from C01 to C17 with one specialty finish per line, jelly, pearl, cream, neon, glass and cat eye, so most salons pick two or three lines by finish rather than stocking all of them.
How do you apply Lavis C07 gel polish?
- Start clean. Push back the cuticle, buff lightly, dehydrate, cure a thin gel base from Base & Top Gel.
- Thin first coat, free edge capped, 60 seconds under the lamp.
- Build the finish. Two thin coats; the milky pinks take a third for opacity, the cat eye variants need a magnet on the second coat. Cure between coats.
- Glossy top. Cure a gel top coat over it; Lavis quotes up to 21 days of wear with proper prep.
A UV/LED lamp cures every layer; ours are under Nail Tools & Accessories. Removal is a soak-off: file, wrap, wait, push, never pry.
Layering, topping and French work with a mixed pinks with glitter and cat eye variants finish
Think of C07 Pinktopia as a layer as much as a color. Over bare base it is the finish Lavis designed; over a cured cream from SNS Gel Only it changes that color's finish instead; under a matte top from Base & Top Gel it goes velvet. Each of those is a different service from the same bottle.
Two more tricks: brush a shade onto the tip and feather it into the base for a soft French, and lay glitter, foil or chrome from Nail Art under a thin coat of a light code so the art shows through the finish.
How mixed pinks with glitter and cat eye variants finish compares with a cream gel
The difference from a cream gel is in the build. Two thin coats; the milky pinks take a third for opacity, the cat eye variants need a magnet on the second coat. A cream from SNS Gel Only gives the same result at two coats every time; a mixed pinks with glitter and cat eye variants finish gives a choice of results, which is the point of the line and the reason to swatch before you book.
What does HEMA-free mean on this page?
Lavis makes the C-series, C07 Pinktopia included, without HEMA, the monomer behind most gel formulas and the ingredient most often named in gel reactions. Leaving it out is a formulation choice we can state plainly; it is not a guarantee that no client will react, and we do not present it as one.
Wear, removal and stocking the line
- Wear time: Lavis quotes up to 21 days with proper prep and a top coat; the top coat sets the limit.
- Removal: soak-off like any gel: thin the surface with a file, wrap with acetone, wait, push.
- Storage: caps tight, away from sunlight, room temperature; roll before the first coat so shimmer and pigment are even.
- Opening order: a handful of codes plus the set as the restock route is the usual way in, not all 24 on day one.
