How to apply C04-06

1. Prep: cuticles back, buff the shine off, wipe, then cure a thin gel base (Base & Top Gel).
2. Thin first coat of C04-06, free edge capped, cured 60 seconds.
3. Second coat, and a third where the finish wants it: Two thin coats for a smooth cream; pastels go on thin to avoid ridges. Cure 60 seconds after each.
4. Seal with a glossy gel top coat and cure.

Questions about C04-06

What does HEMA-free mean here? Lavis formulates the C-series without HEMA, the small monomer in most gel products and the one most often named when a client reacts to gel. That is an exclusion, not a guarantee that no one reacts.

Why does the finish look patchy? Coats that are too thick or not cured between layers. Keep each coat thin, cure 60 seconds after every one, and cap the free edge on the first.

How is it removed? A normal gel soak-off: file the top thin, wrap in acetone, wait, push the softened gel away. Never pry.
