LAVIS 9D Cat Eyes CE17 - 02 - Gel Polish 0.5 oz - Stellar Shift Collection
LAVIS 9D Cat Eyes CE17 - 02 - Gel Polish 0.5 oz - Stellar Shift Collection
Sea-green-to-sapphire multichrome galaxy shimmer: that is Lavis CE17-02, shade 2 of the twelve in the Stellar Shift drop. The palette is chromatic galaxy shimmer that shifts through jewel tones, and every bottle carries the 9D magnetic pigment that forms a streak under a cat eye magnet.
Why techs pick CE17-02
- 9D magnetic cat eye: the closer the magnet is held, the sharper and deeper the line, in Lavis's words.
- Formulated without HEMA and without TPO: stated as what is left out, not as a promise that nobody can react.
- 0.5 fl oz (15 mL) salon bottle with a high-gloss, high-transparency finish.
- 60 to 90 second cure under a UV or LED lamp; Lavis quotes up to 21 days of wear with proper prep and a top coat.

How to apply CE17-02
- Prep: push cuticles back, buff the shine off, wipe, then cure a thin gel base (Base & Top Gel).
- First thin coat of CE17-02, cured 60 seconds, no magnet.
- Second, slightly fuller coat. Before it cures, hold a cat eye magnet about 2 mm above the wet gel for three to five seconds without touching it.
- Cure that nail at once, one nail at a time; the pigment drifts as soon as the magnet moves away. Full cure 60 to 90 seconds.
- Seal with a glossy gel top coat and cure. A dark cured underlayer makes the line read stronger.

Questions about CE17-02
Is a magnet included? No. Every Lavis cat eye shade needs a magnet, sold separately; any bar, stylus or dual-line nail magnet works and ours are in the Magnet collection. Without one the gel cures as an even shimmer.
Can I wear CE17-02 over a colored base? Yes. Cure a coat of black or a deep neutral first and the magnetic line reads strongest; over its own base the shade keeps more of its color. Wear and removal are the same either way.
How is it removed? A normal gel soak-off: file the top thin, wrap in acetone, wait, push the softened gel away. Never pry.
