LAVIS NON STICKY NAIL EXTENSION POLY GEL 20
LAVIS NON STICKY NAIL EXTENSION POLY GEL 20
Shade 20 of the 36 in Lavis's non-sticky poly gel. The tack of original poly gel is taken out of the formula, so a dry brush moves the bead, the cuticle line stays clean, and there is no slip solution bottle on the station.
Why techs pick shade 20
- Non-sticky: spreads with a clean brush, no slip solution, clean cuticle line, fewer application errors.
- Extensions, apex and overlays: sculpts over a dual form or nail form, builds an apex on the natural nail, reinforces an overlay.
- Strong and flexible once cured, and files cleanly.
- 60 to 90 second cure under a 36W or stronger LED lamp.

- Fit a dual form or slide a nail form under the free edge.
- Scoop a bead from the tube with the spatula, set it in the form or on the nail, shape with a clean brush.
- Cure 60 to 90 seconds under a 36W or stronger LED; build the apex in two layers if needed.
- Release the form, file, buff, then color and top coat.
Best for
Techs new to poly gel, because the bead stays where it is placed; high-volume salons, because there is one fewer bottle on the station; dual form services, where a poly gel is the natural fill; and apex work on natural nails that do not want length.

Questions about shade 20
Do I need slip solution? No. The non-sticky formula moves with a clean, dry brush. Lavis Slip Solution is listed for techs who also work an original poly gel or want a wetter brush for blending; use it sparingly.
What lamp does it need? Lavis specifies an LED lamp of 36W or more, 60 to 90 seconds per layer. Keep layers moderate and give a full cure before filing.
How is a poly gel extension refilled or removed? Refill every two to three weeks: file the regrowth flat, prep, add a bead at the cuticle side, blend, cure. Removal is by filing the bulk and taking the rest off like a hard gel; never pry.
