SNS Pro - Burgundy Book Collection - #058
SNS Pro - Burgundy Book Collection - #058
Burgundy Book #058 is an espresso brown, one of the 144 codes in the SNS Pro Burgundy Book. Pick the format on this listing: the Gelous Color dipping powder, the GelStar gel on its own, the gel and lacquer duo, or all three as a 3-in-1 set. The shade is the same in each.
Browns and earth tones are fall and winter shades on most walls, and this one holds up well as a full set or as the dark half of a two-tone. It sits with the 13 nudes and browns on the Burgundy Book card, so it is a natural step up from a nude for a client who wants more depth.
Why this powder
- One code, three pieces. The powder, the gel and the lacquer of #058 are built to one shade, which SNS calls MasterMatch, so the hands and the toes match without a re-swatch.
- Pre-bonded Gelous Color powder. The jar is our Nutri-Plus formula, and we formulate the base and the powder with vitamins and minerals, with vitamin E and calcium in the GelStar gel.
- Dip or sculpt. The powder dips over base and sets with activator, and it also sculpts with monomer like an acrylic, so one jar covers both services.
- Buy only what you use. The gel is sold alone, so a gel salon can carry the whole book without the powder.

How to apply #058
Prep once: push back the cuticle, shape, buff the shine off the plate and wipe with alcohol. Then the service decides the piece.
- Dip. A thin coat of base, dip into #058, tap off the excess, repeat once. Activator over the whole nail, file and buff, a second coat of activator, then top coat. No lamp.
- Gel. Gel base, cured. Two thin coats of the #058 GelStar, cured after each. Gel top, cured, then wipe the tacky layer.
- Lacquer. Two coats of the #058 lacquer, air-dried. Top coat optional.
Removal for dip and gel is an acetone soak, never a peel.
Pair the powder with base, activator and top coat from Dip Essentials, and the gel with a base and top from Base & Top Gel.

Questions about #058
Can I buy #058 as part of a set?
Yes. It sits on board 2 of the Burgundy Book, codes #037 to #072, and the board is sold as one bundle in each format, 36 codes at a time. The full 144-code book is also sold as one bundle.
Will the gel and lacquer match the #058 powder?
That is what the code is for. We build all three pieces of #058 to one shade, which SNS calls MasterMatch, so the powder on the hands and the lacquer on the toes read as one color. Match against the physical Burgundy Book or the swatch photo above rather than a phone screen when the decision matters.
Is this a dip powder or an acrylic powder?
Both. Over base it works as a dip overlay; with monomer it sculpts like an acrylic. One jar of #058 does either job.
Color swatches vary with screens and lighting. For accuracy, match against the physical SNS Burgundy Book. Packaging styles may vary by batch.
