SNS Pro - Burgundy Book Collection - #138
SNS Pro - Burgundy Book Collection - #138
#138 is a rust brown from the SNS Pro Burgundy Book. The powder dips over base and sets with activator, the GelStar gel cures under a lamp and the SNS Nail Lacquer air-dries, and all three are matched to this one shade. Choose the format above; the price is the same for every code in the book.
Browns and earth tones are fall and winter shades on most walls, and this one holds up well as a full set or as the dark half of a two-tone. It sits with the 13 nudes and browns on the Burgundy Book card, so it is a natural step up from a nude for a client who wants more depth.
Why this powder
- Hands and toes in one code. The gel and lacquer duo carries the same shade as the powder, so a client can wear #138 as dip on the hands and lacquer on the toes.
- Nutri-Plus in the jar. We add vitamins and minerals to the base coat and the powder, and vitamin E and calcium to the GelStar gel.
- Acrylic-ready. Sculpt the same powder with monomer when the client wants length rather than an overlay.
- The cheapest way to own a code. The 0.5 oz GelStar gel is sold on its own.

How to apply #138
Start with a clean, dry plate: cuticles pushed back, nail shaped, shine buffed off, alcohol wipe. Then pick the service.
- Dip on the hands. Thin base, dip #138, tap, thin base, dip again. Activator, file, buff, activator again, top coat. Nothing to cure.
- Gel on the hands. Cure a thin gel base, cure two thin coats of the #138 GelStar, cure the gel top and wipe.
- Lacquer on the toes. Two coats of the #138 lacquer, left to air-dry.
To remove the dip or the gel, soak in acetone. Do not peel; it takes the top layer of the plate with it.
The dip needs a base, an activator and a top coat: they are under Dip Essentials. Gel base and top for the GelStar are under Base & Top Gel.

Questions about #138
Which board is #138 on?
Board 4, which runs #109 to #144. The board is sold as one bundle in the same formats as this listing, so it is a way to fill a quarter of a Burgundy Book wall in one order. The full book of 144 codes is sold the same way.
Is this a dip powder or an acrylic powder?
Both. Over base it works as a dip overlay; with monomer it sculpts like an acrylic. One jar of #138 does either job.
How long does #138 last, and how does it come off?
Most clients get a few weeks from a dip set, though prep and lifestyle move that a lot. The dip and the gel both come off with an acetone soak; the lacquer with regular remover. Never peel a dip or gel set, it takes the surface of the nail with it.
Color swatches vary with screens and lighting. For accuracy, match against the physical SNS Burgundy Book. Packaging styles may vary by batch.
