SNS Pro - Burgundy Book Collection - #059
SNS Pro - Burgundy Book Collection - #059
#059 is a black plum from the SNS Pro Burgundy Book. The powder dips over base and sets with activator, the GelStar gel cures under a lamp and the SNS Nail Lacquer air-dries, and all three are matched to this one shade. Choose the format above; the price is the same for every code in the book.
A black is a full-set shade in winter, an accent nail all year, and the base for most nail art. The powder gives a deep, even black that a lacquer usually needs three coats to reach.
Why this powder
- One code, three pieces. The powder, the gel and the lacquer of #059 are built to one shade, which SNS calls MasterMatch, so the hands and the toes match without a re-swatch.
- Pre-bonded Gelous Color powder. The jar is our Nutri-Plus formula, and we formulate the base and the powder with vitamins and minerals, with vitamin E and calcium in the GelStar gel.
- Dip or sculpt. The powder dips over base and sets with activator, and it also sculpts with monomer like an acrylic, so one jar covers both services.
- Buy only what you use. The gel is sold alone, so a gel salon can carry the whole book without the powder.

How to apply #059
Start with a clean, dry plate: cuticles pushed back, nail shaped, shine buffed off, alcohol wipe. Then pick the service.
- Dip on the hands. Thin base, dip #059, tap, thin base, dip again. Activator, file, buff, activator again, top coat. Nothing to cure.
- Gel on the hands. Cure a thin gel base, cure two thin coats of the #059 GelStar, cure the gel top and wipe.
- Lacquer on the toes. Two coats of the #059 lacquer, left to air-dry.
To remove the dip or the gel, soak in acetone. Do not peel; it takes the top layer of the plate with it.
The dip needs a base, an activator and a top coat: they are under Dip Essentials. Gel base and top for the GelStar are under Base & Top Gel.

Questions about #059
Which board is #059 on?
Board 2, which runs #037 to #072. The board is sold as one bundle in the same formats as this listing, so it is a way to fill a quarter of a Burgundy Book wall in one order. The full book of 144 codes is sold the same way.
How do I remove #059?
Acetone soak for the dip and the gel, ordinary remover for the lacquer. Wear is a few weeks for most clients, more or less depending on prep and what the hands do all day.
Do I need an activator with #059?
Yes. This is the standard SNS dip routine: base, powder, base, powder, then the Sealer Dry activator over the whole nail before you file, and a second coat before top coat. The activator is what sets the powder. The two no-activator books (Green and Yellow Green) skip it; the Burgundy Book does not.
Color swatches vary with screens and lighting. For accuracy, match against the physical SNS Burgundy Book. Packaging styles may vary by batch.
