SNS Pro - Burgundy Book Collection - #080
SNS Pro - Burgundy Book Collection - #080
The rose at #080 in the SNS Pro Burgundy Book. Four ways to buy it on this one listing: the 1.5 oz Gelous Color dipping powder, the GelStar gel alone, the gel and lacquer duo, or the 3-in-1 set with all three. Same number, same shade, whichever you pick.
Pinks and mauves are 35 of the 144 codes in the Burgundy Book, so this code has close neighbours listed below. Pick by undertone: this one is the shade to sample if you want a pink that reads clearly as pink rather than as a nude.
Why this powder
- Hands and toes in one code. The gel and lacquer duo carries the same shade as the powder, so a client can wear #080 as dip on the hands and lacquer on the toes.
- Nutri-Plus in the jar. We add vitamins and minerals to the base coat and the powder, and vitamin E and calcium to the GelStar gel.
- Acrylic-ready. Sculpt the same powder with monomer when the client wants length rather than an overlay.
- The cheapest way to own a code. The 0.5 oz GelStar gel is sold on its own.

How to apply #080
Prep once: push back the cuticle, shape, buff the shine off the plate and wipe with alcohol. Then the service decides the piece.
- Dip. A thin coat of base, dip into #080, tap off the excess, repeat once. Activator over the whole nail, file and buff, a second coat of activator, then top coat. No lamp.
- Gel. Gel base, cured. Two thin coats of the #080 GelStar, cured after each. Gel top, cured, then wipe the tacky layer.
- Lacquer. Two coats of the #080 lacquer, air-dried. Top coat optional.
Removal for dip and gel is an acetone soak, never a peel.
Three bottles finish the dip service, base, activator and top coat, all under Dip Essentials. If you run the GelStar as a gel service, the gel base and gel top are under Base & Top Gel.

Questions about #080
Is the swatch photo accurate?
It is the best online reference, but a screen is not a nail. For a color decision, match #080 against the physical Burgundy Book. Packaging styles vary by batch; the code and the shade are the same.
Will the gel and lacquer match the #080 powder?
That is what the code is for. We build all three pieces of #080 to one shade, which SNS calls MasterMatch, so the powder on the hands and the lacquer on the toes read as one color. Match against the physical Burgundy Book or the swatch photo above rather than a phone screen when the decision matters.
Is this a dip powder or an acrylic powder?
Both. Over base it works as a dip overlay; with monomer it sculpts like an acrylic. One jar of #080 does either job.
Color swatches vary with screens and lighting. For accuracy, match against the physical SNS Burgundy Book. Packaging styles may vary by batch.
