How to apply #008

Prep is the same for all three formats: push the cuticle back, shape, take the shine off the plate, wipe with alcohol.

1. Dip. Two rounds of thin base and #008 powder, then file, buff and top coat. This powder sets without an activator, so that step is simply left out. No lamp.
2. Gel. Gel base, two thin coats of the #008 gel and a gel top, each cured, then wipe the tacky layer.
3. Lacquer. Two air-dried coats of the #008 lacquer for toes or touch-ups.

Both the dip and the gel come off with an acetone soak.
