SNS Pro - Yellow Green Book Collection - #044
SNS Pro - Yellow Green Book Collection - #044
The pale pink at #044 in the SNS Pro Yellow Green Book. Three ways to buy it on this one listing: the 1.5 oz dip and acrylic powder that needs no activator, the soak-off gel and air-dry lacquer duo, or the 3-in-1 set with all three. Same number, same shade, whichever you pick.
Pinks and mauves are 27 of the 120 codes in the Yellow Green Book, so this code has close neighbours listed below. Pick by undertone: this one is the shade to sample if you want a pink that reads clearly as pink rather than as a nude.
Why this powder
- No activator step. Base, powder, base, powder, file, top coat. The two activator coats of a standard dip service are gone, along with the smell at the table.
- One code, three formats. The powder, the gel and the lacquer of #044 are built to one shade, so the hands and the toes match without a re-swatch.
- Dip or sculpt. The powder dips over base, and it also sculpts with monomer like an acrylic, so one jar covers both services.
- Our 5-in-1 formula. Bonding, strength, shine, protection and an easier soak-off removal in one powder, and our Nutri-Plus system adds vitamins and minerals to the base coat and the powder.

How to apply #044
Start with a clean, dry plate: cuticles pushed back, nail shaped, shine buffed off, alcohol wipe. Then pick the service.
- Dip on the hands. Thin base, dip #044, tap, thin base, dip again. File, buff, top coat. There is no activator coat in this routine and nothing to cure.
- Gel on the hands. Cure a thin gel base, cure two thin coats of the #044 gel, cure the gel top and wipe.
- Lacquer on the toes. Two coats of the #044 lacquer, left to air-dry.
To remove the dip or the gel, soak in acetone. Do not peel; it takes the top layer of the plate with it.
The dip needs a base and a top coat and nothing else: they are under Dip Essentials. Gel base and top for the duo are under Base & Top Gel.

Questions about #044
Is the swatch photo accurate?
It is the best online reference, but a screen is not a nail. For a color decision, match #044 against the physical Yellow Green Book. Packaging styles vary by batch; the code and the shade are the same.
How long does #044 last, and how does it come off?
Most clients get a few weeks from a dip set, though prep and lifestyle move that a lot. The dip and the gel both come off with an acetone soak; the lacquer with regular remover. Never peel a dip or gel set, it takes the surface of the nail with it.
Is #044 used with an activator?
It is not. This is one of the two SNS Pro books whose powder sets on its own over base, so the service is base, powder, base, powder, file and top coat. Mixing the activator routine from the other books into this one is where mistakes come from, so keep the two routines apart.
Color swatches vary with screens and lighting. For accuracy, match against the physical SNS Yellow Green Book. Packaging styles may vary by batch.
