How to apply #066

Prep is the same for every format: push the cuticle back, shape, take the shine off the plate, wipe with alcohol.

1. Dip. Two rounds of thin base and #066 powder, activator, file and buff, a second activator coat, top coat. No lamp.
2. Gel. Gel base, two thin coats of the #066 GelStar and a gel top, each cured, then wipe the tacky layer.
3. Lacquer. Two air-dried coats of the #066 lacquer for toes or touch-ups.

Both the dip and the gel come off with an acetone soak.

A glitter. The sparkle is in the powder, so it runs through the whole layer and does not wear off the surface the way a glitter top coat does. Many salons pair it with a cream from the same family as an accent nail.

Will the gel and lacquer match the #066 powder?
