SNS Pro - Yellow Green Book Collection - #042
SNS Pro - Yellow Green Book Collection - #042
Code #042 of the SNS Pro Yellow Green Book: a rosy nude. This is a book whose powder needs no activator coat, and every code in it is sold three ways on one listing: the 1.5 oz powder, the gel and lacquer duo, or the 3-in-1 set with all three pieces matched to one shade.
Nudes are the everyday shades a salon reorders most, and this one is built for the client who wants a clean hand for the office. It works as a full set, as the base of a French, and under an accent nail from the same book.
Why this powder
- Fewer steps. Two thin coats of base, two of powder, then file and top coat. No activator coat at any point, and no lamp for the dip.
- Hands and toes in one code. The gel and lacquer duo carries the same shade as the powder, so a client can wear #042 as dip on the hands and lacquer on the toes.
- Acrylic-ready. Sculpt the same powder with monomer when the client wants length rather than an overlay.
- One formula for the five jobs. Bonding, strength, shine, protection and easy removal, with our Nutri-Plus vitamins and minerals in the base and the powder.

How to apply #042
Prep is the same for all three formats: push the cuticle back, shape, take the shine off the plate, wipe with alcohol.
- Dip. Two rounds of thin base and #042 powder, then file, buff and top coat. This powder sets without an activator, so that step is simply left out. No lamp.
- Gel. Gel base, two thin coats of the #042 gel and a gel top, each cured, then wipe the tacky layer.
- Lacquer. Two air-dried coats of the #042 lacquer for toes or touch-ups.
Both the dip and the gel come off with an acetone soak.
The dip needs a base and a top coat and nothing else: they are under Dip Essentials. Gel base and top for the duo are under Base & Top Gel.

Questions about #042
Why does #042 look different on my screen?
Because screens shift color. The swatch photo above is the closest reference we can give online, and the physical Yellow Green Book is the one to use for a client decision. Packaging may vary by batch; the shade does not.
Is this a dip powder or an acrylic powder?
Both. Over base it works as a dip overlay; with monomer it sculpts like an acrylic. One jar of #042 does either job.
How long does #042 last, and how does it come off?
Most clients get a few weeks from a dip set, though prep and lifestyle move that a lot. The dip and the gel both come off with an acetone soak; the lacquer with regular remover. Never peel a dip or gel set, it takes the surface of the nail with it.
Color swatches vary with screens and lighting. For accuracy, match against the physical SNS Yellow Green Book. Packaging styles may vary by batch.
